About Me.
Maverick is continuing his journey with Colonial Newfoundland Rescue and is settling into foster care after experiencing more than his share of transitions. After being moved around multiple times and ultimately surrendered to a shelter, he’s now getting the consistency, structure, and support he’s always needed.
In foster care, Maverick is learning what it means to feel safe. With patient guidance, clear boundaries, and a predictable routine, he’s beginning to decompress and understand life indoors. His foster family is committed to helping him build confidence and stability, and the rescue team is equally dedicated to ensuring he finds the right home—one where he can truly succeed.
